We are #ROULEURS – riders at heart. The #MONKEYPRORIDER tour concept is all about riding, bends and scenery. We make very few visits to castles, museums or heritage sites... Make sure you can ride about 250 to 300 km a day, several days in a row. Back roads only. Our pace and riding method allow most riders to take part, but too low a riding level could hold the group back and make it difficult to finish the stages in a reasonable time.

A first for me with Monkeyprorider: I rode the Route des Grandes Alpes in August and can only congratulate the organisation – a superb job on the routes, the accommodation and a great atmosphere, and above all a maestro, Thierry, as our guide. A superb experience and surely one of my best trips. (translated from French)

DAY 2 - APPROX. 200 KM - PROPRIANO, ROCCAPINA, PORTO-VECCHIO
Breakfast and briefing on leaving the ferry in Propriano. Off for the first riding day, heading south-west. We pass the Lion of Roccapina and stop for lunch in a traditional Corsican restaurant. Then on to one of the most beautiful beaches in the south for an afternoon break before reaching our accommodation west of Porto-Vecchio. Dinner at the accommodation.
DAY 3 - APPROX. 200 KM - BONIFACIO AND THE SOUTHERN BEACHES
Morning with 2 hours of free time in the citadel of Bonifacio. Picnic lunch on a very beautiful beach in the south of the island. The afternoon is a chance to enjoy riding up a mountain pass. Back to the accommodation in the late afternoon. Depending on timing and weather, we may ride to the Aiguilles de Bavella for an afternoon break.
DAY 4 - APPROX. 280 KM - ACROSS THE ISLAND TO CORTE
We cross the island through the centre to reach the Corte area and our second accommodation. The ride is a chance to detour to must-see sites, such as the Aiguilles de Bavella if we didn't visit them the day before. If we did, we will use the time saved to add a short route chosen by the guide. Arrival at the accommodation in the early evening.
DAY 5 - APPROX. 280 KM - CAP CORSE AND NONZA
Heading for the northern cape for very different but exceptional views. Picnic on a black sand beach, visit of Nonza and its medieval heritage. Coffee break as far north as possible on the cape. A day packed with twisty roads. Back to the accommodation in the late afternoon.
DAY 6 - 0 KM - REST DAY
Rest day OFF. A chance to relax or to visit Corte or Calvi in your free time. A quad bike outing in the Agriates desert can be organised at participants' request (extra cost). For walkers or those looking for beautiful scenery, a there-and-back hike in the Restonica valley (closed to traffic) makes a great day out. We meet again in the early evening for dinner.
DAY 7 - APPROX. 320 KM - PIANA AND THE CALVI CORNICHE
Early start for a great, full day of riding. Twisty roads and views! The Ruda canyon, the Piana gorge, then we settle on a picturesque beach for a picnic. Back via the road of 1,000 bends and the majestic Calvi corniche. Arrival at the accommodation in the early evening
DAY 8 - APPROX. 130 KM - HILLS ABOVE BASTIA AND FERRY
A short ride in the hills above Bastia to take in a few passes and enjoy a fine morning of riding. Lunch in Bastia and check-in at the ferry for 4 pm. Free time on board. The last meal on board is included.
DAY 9 - 0 KM - ARRIVAL ON THE MAINLAND
Arrival on the mainland around 7 am, after a breakfast included on board. Goodbyes with the other participants. The tour is already over.
Depending on the season, hotel availability or the number of people registered (and their riding level), some constraints may require the guide to change the routes and/or overnight stops. The guide alone decides what is needed to keep to the timing, make the most of the planned stops and ensure the overall comfort of the group. These changes cannot be disputed.

PREPARING YOUR MOTORCYCLE TOUR OF CORSICA: THE GUIDE'S TIPS
Corsica is often called every rider's holy grail: roads that twist endlessly, the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. To make the most of your motorcycle tour of Corsica, here is the advice we give every group before boarding. It complements the briefing your qualified guide gives every morning before setting off.
Expect narrow, lively roads
Corsican roads are narrow, winding and sometimes lined with low walls. Free-roaming cows and pigs can appear round a bend: look far ahead, keep a margin and stay well to the right in blind corners.
Prepare for the ferry crossing
During the crossing, the motorcycle stays in the hold. Pack what you need for the night on board in a small bag (toiletries, change of clothes, chargers) and arrive at boarding with time to spare.
Set off with tyres and brakes in good shape
Taking several hundred bends a day wears tyres quickly and works the brakes hard. Have your tyres and pads checked before you leave: on the island, you won't necessarily find the right part at the right time.
