We are #ROULEURS – riders at heart. The #MONKEYPRORIDER tour concept is all about riding, bends and scenery. We make very few visits to castles, museums or heritage sites... Make sure you can ride about 300 to 400 km a day, several days in a row. Our pace and riding method allow most riders to take part, but too low a riding level could hold the group back and make it difficult to finish the stages in a reasonable time.

A first for me with Monkeyprorider: I rode the Route des Grandes Alpes in August and can only congratulate the organisation – a superb job on the routes, the accommodation and a great atmosphere, and above all a maestro, Thierry, as our guide. A superb experience and surely one of my best trips. (translated from French)

PREPARING YOUR MOTORCYCLE TOUR FROM FRANCE TO SENEGAL: THE GUIDE'S TIPS
Five countries, two continents and thousands of kilometres of roads and tracks: the great France-Senegal crossing by motorcycle is an extraordinary adventure. It needs to be prepared several months in advance – here is where to start. These tips complement the briefing your qualified guide gives every morning before setting off.
Plan formalities and health
Valid passport, entry formalities for each country crossed, recommended vaccinations and treatments: book an early appointment with your doctor or a travel vaccination centre and check the official websites.
Practise riding on sand
On sand, look far ahead, stand on the footpegs, keep a steady trickle of throttle and let the motorcycle move. An off-road introduction day before departure makes all the difference.
Prepare your body for the effort
This tour requires riding about 300 to 400 km a day, several days in a row, often in the heat. Good physical fitness is your best ally.
